About NB I (Hungary)
The NB I, Nemzeti Bajnokság I, is the top division of Hungarian football. Twelve clubs play three full rounds of eleven matchdays, thirty-three in all, so every pair of clubs meets three times and there is no split into groups. A win is worth three points and a draw one; on equal points the first tie-breaker is the number of wins. The twelfth club goes down to the NB II and the NB II winner comes up, while the eleventh plays a single match on neutral ground against the NB II runner-up for a place in the NB I. The league stays silent until enough current-season matches are settled for the models to price from. Every published pick is frozen before kickoff at decimal odds and graded against the final result.
