About League One (England)

League One is the third tier of English football, and the regulations of the English Football League fix it at twenty-four clubs. At the end of each season the top two are promoted to the Championship and the next four play off for one more promotion place, while the four clubs finishing lowest drop into League Two. A matchday is labelled with a single number in the form Regular Season - N. PredZone publishes a statistical preview and a pick before kickoff, frozen at the odds we saw, then grades it against the final result. Winning and losing picks alike stay in the public record, so this division can be judged on what it has actually produced.
