About Superliga (Denmark)

The Superliga is the top division of Danish football. Under the tournament rules of the Danish Divisional Association its twelve clubs first play each other home and away over twenty-two rounds. The table then splits: the top six meet home and away again for the title, the bottom six do the same to stay up, and both groups keep all their points and goals. The winner of the bottom group, or its runner-up if the winner has already won the Danish Cup, then plays one match away to the best top-six club without a European place, for Denmark's lowest-ranked European place. The bottom group's last two go down to the 1st Division, whose top two come up. PredZone publishes a statistical preview and a pick for the fixtures below, then settles every pick against the final score.
